## Description

Rifugio Elisabetta Soldini at 2 195 m (7 201 ft) sits at the foot of the Col de la Seigne (2 516 m (8 255 ft)) in the Val Veny, on the Italian side of the Tour du Mont Blanc. Named after Italian alpinist Elisabetta Soldini, the refuge has 52 dormitory beds and 24 beds in private rooms, for a total capacity of 76 guests. It offers half-board, packed lunches and evening meals. A winter shelter with 21 beds and blankets is available off-season. Reservation mandatory. No animals accepted. Cash payment recommended. The refuge marks the France-Italy border crossing for hikers arriving from Les Chapieux and Refuge des Mottets, with direct views of the Aiguille des Glaciers and the Lex Blanche glacier.
