### Day 1: Day 1: Arrival in Les Houches

You arrive in Les Houches and meet your guide and the rest of the group. Take the opportunity to explore this charming village at the foot of Mont Blanc and prepare for the days ahead.

### Day 2: Day 2: Les Houches - Les Contamines

You leave Les Houches and take the Bellevue cable car to ease the first climb. The TMB trail winds through beautiful forest above the Bionnassay valley, passing through picturesque alpine hamlets with superb views of Mont Blanc, the Dome du Gouter and the imposing Bionnassay Glacier. After crossing the Col du Tricot, you descend in switchbacks to the Chalet de Miage, then follow the river to the village of Les Contamines.

### Day 3: Day 3: Les Contamines - Les Chapieux

After a short transfer to Notre-Dame de la Gorge, you begin the long climb toward Col du Bonhomme, then continue to the Croix du Bonhomme before descending into the remote Les Chapieux valley. This is a truly alpine stage with magnificent panoramas of the Aiguille des Glaciers.

### Day 4: Day 4: Les Chapieux - Refuge Elisabetta (Italy)

You leave Les Chapieux and climb steadily toward Col de la Seigne, which marks the border between France and Italy. As you cross into Italy, the panorama opens up dramatically with views of the Aiguilles de Peuterey and the Italian side of Mont Blanc. You descend to the Refuge Elisabetta, beautifully situated beneath the glaciers.

### Day 5: Day 5: Refuge Elisabetta - Courmayeur

You climb to one of the finest balconies on the Tour du Mont Blanc, reaching the Col de Checrouit with spectacular views of the south face of Mont Blanc. You then descend to the lively Italian town of Courmayeur, either on foot or by cable car.

### Day 6: Day 6: Courmayeur - La Fouly (Switzerland)

You take a bus to the head of the Italian Val Ferret and hike along the Mont de la Saxe ridge, offering exceptional views of Mont Blanc, the Aiguille du Triolet and the Grandes Jorasses. You then climb to the Grand Col Ferret, crossing into Switzerland, and descend through alpine pastures to the charming village of La Fouly.

### Day 7: Day 7: La Fouly - Champex

You walk through one of the most beautiful valleys in the Valais, admiring the traditional architecture of typical Swiss villages along the Val Ferret. You then reach the village of Champex and its charming mountain lake.

### Day 8: Day 8: Champex - Trient

Depending on conditions and the group's fitness, you either climb to the Fenetre d'Arpette at 2,665 m (8,743 ft), offering a spectacular panorama and a dramatic descent alongside the Trient Glacier, or take the scenic balcony trail via the Bovine pastures high above the Rhone valley.

### Day 9: Day 9: Trient - Argentiere (France)

You cross Col de la Balme and return to France, greeted by a sweeping panorama of the Mont Blanc massif, the Aiguille Verte and the Chamonix valley below. The descent takes you through alpine meadows and forests to the village of Le Tour, then on to Argentiere.

The final hiking day follows the Balcon des Aiguilles Rouges, one of the finest panoramic trails in the Alps. You climb to Lac Blanc, where the view is simply unforgettable - the Aiguille Verte, Les Drus, the Mer de Glace, the Aiguilles de Chamonix and Mont Blanc spread out before you in a single sweeping vista. You then descend toward La Flegere and continue down to Chamonix.

### How difficult is the TMB 10-Day trek?

The Tour du Mont Blanc is rated as a medium-difficulty trek (3/5). Each stage involves significant elevation gain and loss, but the trails are well-marked and maintained. A good level of fitness and some experience with mountain hiking are recommended before setting out.
