Refuge de Miage, at 1,560 m5,118 ft in the municipality of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, is the first stage of the Tour du Mont Blanc. You can reach it via the Col du Tricot, via Le Champel, via the Gorges de la Gruvaz or from the La Frasse car park: the refuge describes all four routes on its access page (in French).
Accommodation: 31 places, in a dormitory, a room or a small chalet, on half-board with mountain cooking. Prices are on the refuge’s rates page (in French).
Payments: no bank cards accepted, payment by cheque or cash.
Dogs: Not accepted.
Bivouac: Permitted near the stream.
